With over 28 years of experience, Dr. Lance Alpert of TotalVision EyeCare is a licensed advanced care optometrist practicing in Manchester, Connecticut.
He manages one of the largest specialty contact lens practices in the region and has served as a consultant for contact lens technology advancements. Additionally, he was a Low Vision Specialist for the Board of Education and Services for the Blind.
Dr. Alpert earned a National Diploma in Optometry in South Africa and a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists, having served on the latter's board and currently on its Finance Committee.
His expertise includes fitting challenging contact lenses, Corneal Reshaping Therapy (CRT), geriatrics, low vision, and co-managing LASIK and other laser vision correction procedures. He also participates in speakers bureaus for various contact lens companies.
