As the year's end comes near, so does the end of your flex spending dollars. If flex spending doesn't strike a familiar chord you may not be signed up for an FSA (or flex spending account) but you might want to check your insurance plan to make sure.
If you contribute to a Flex Spending Plan through a company benefits be sure to plan ahead. Many plans require you to use any money you've contributed by December 31st or risk losing it for good!
With your FSA you can save big on your eye care needs. Eye and contact lens examinations, eye wear, contacts, even Lasik may all meet the requirements for a refund. Just keep in mind that some procedures, such as laser vision correction require advanced screening which takes time so schedule an appointment sooner than later.
